If you play the game, like it or not, you'll be glad to know that The Last of Us was only recently released on the PC. I had my doubts about this game before- mainly because the PC version was one of those things that people say “will be coming soon” when in reality doesn't happen for years upon years. I preordered the game when it came out with the hope that I would enjoy it- and I did! It's hard to say which platform has a better combat system in terms of gunplay, but overall the graphics are clearer on Xbox One and PS4. The Last of Us PC has a greater number of models, and therefore a greater number of zombies, which means you'll see more blood splattering all over the place. Of course, The Last of Us Pc Version's graphics aren't anything to write home about. In fact, I would say that it is generally lower resolution than either console. However the models are slightly higher resolution and the textures are very good. The Last of Us Pc version has a couple other things going for it too, such as a better mouse sensitivity slider and a fullscreen mode with double buffering for smoother gameplay. Which brings me to my final point, the controls. I like The Last of Us Pc version's control scheme most of all. It is very responsive and, unlike the console versions, doesn't require you to hold down any buttons or use any keyboard shortcuts to do anything. I'd say the only issue with the controls is that sometimes you'll be using two different types of weapons or Joel will have a firearm hanging from his hand that he's holding sideways while shooting other people in multiplayer mode. However these are very rare occurrences and it won't happen often enough for you to notice during normal play. [/ARTICLE END] Worth the cost of admission? Don't be silly, of course it is! You can buy it on Steam for £14.99 / €19.99, which gives you access to all DLC, free face tattoos and limited edition art book. Here's a video showing some of the features, including stealth kills with the bow: The Last Of Us - Official Trailer Gameplay 1080p 60fps - Xbox One X/PS4 Pro The Last Of Us is a game I enjoyed fully, despite its occasional issues in Live Operations mode. But the DLC... The DLC is *heaven*. I've played through all of it (excluding the 4 missions for which you must be level 15) and I loved every second of every mission. I honestly enjoyed the 4-player co-op more than playing against other human players. The game was updated to run smoothly on the PS4 Pro but it's also available on Xbox One for those who own that console. Unlike many games that just package their DLC in a separate game, The Last of Us keeps its main game free so you can easily play through these excellent extra missions without paying another dime if you already own The Last Of Us. eccc085e13
